The PathWays Residential program encompasses 10 licensed homes with 24-hour care and supported living arrangements for individuals wishing to stay in their homes.

Since our first residential home opened in 1975, we’ve facilitated safe and secure environments for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism so they can lead active and fulfilling lives.

Who it’s for

The Residential Program serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism who are 18 years of age or older.

Residential offers:

Our 10 homes include staff support 24 hours a day and opportunities tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual.

Individuals who decide to live in their own homes or apartments can receive direct and indirect support from PathWays staff.

PathWays’ single-level HUD Homes are fully handicap accessible and offer safety and comfort to people of all abilities.

Independence

Licensed homes include private bedrooms and plenty of space for cooking, watching TV, relaxing, and socializing.

Individualization

Individuals can request support for specific goals or needs, such as medications, meals, housekeeping, finances, decision-making, health and wellness, or emotional well-being.

Connection

The Residential Program promotes positive interactions and friendships.

Get started with Residential Program

Step one

Contact your county’s Intellectual Disability Office for an intake and assessment of need.

Step two

•

If approved, you will be offered a Supports Coordination agency and assigned a Supports Coordinator. You will work with this Supports Coordinator to develop a plan.

Step three

•

Confirm available funding with your Supports Coordinator. If you’re looking for a home with 24/7 support, you will need federal or state Consolidated Waiver funding. If you’re looking for supported living or short-term respite care, you can use Consolidated, Community Living, or PFDS Waivers.
