(Letter from Tucker's mom to Rainbow's End Washington Preschool Teacher Ms. Dana)
"I was going to try and write this in a card, but I knew it wouldn't fit. I don't know how you thank someone for loving your baby as much as you do. I remember walking in for the tour and being so worried that Tucker would be lost in the shuffle of all that would happen in your room. Would kids play with him? Would he play with them? Would he eat the food or be able to handle drinking from a straw all the time? You never looked at Tucker as the little boy with Down Syndrome, and you never made me feel bad for checking in a million times.
November 13, 2018 seems like a lifetime ago. We brought him in that day and I knew he would be loved. Here we are almost two years later and I wish thank you was enough, but I know it never will be. You believed in Tucker and his abilities when many saw a kid with a disability. You held him to the same standards and helped prove to him and all around that he could do anything he put his mind to. You gave him wings to fly, and for that I am eternally grateful. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Tucker will have other teachers who care, but there will only ever be one 'Nay-na'. Thank you for everything."
